ABOUT THE ROLEAs the
Student Engagement Officer, you will be the students as a first point of contact and delivering operational support across the
Student Support and Engagement Portfolio.Additionally, you will-
- Provide initial support to students engaging with services including Counselling, Equitable Learning and Disability, Indigenous Engagement, Student Life, Libraries and Complaints and responds to enquiries across a range of channels including face to face, phone and online.
- Undertake a range of administrative activities providing high-level support across the Student Support and Engagement portfolio, including the handling of accounts receivable/payable and specialised administrative support for service teams and Leadership.
- Using various media, promote opportunities for students to engage and ensure the development and distribution of Student Services promotional material
ABOUT YOUYou will have- A relevant qualification at a minimum of post-secondary level or relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated experience in providing administrative and customer service support
- Experience in engaging with post-secondary students.
- Excellent written, verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience and strong knowledge of computer systems
- It will be considered very desirable if you have previous experience in the vocational education sector and experience in dealing with non-native English speakers from diverse backgrounds.
