Qualifications & Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Good communication skills, both verbally and electronically.
- A strong sales based mindset with a proactive attitude.
- Ability to problem solve and think on your feet.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Answering phones and emails regarding customer reservations and events.
- Working closely with the rest of the events team to convert customer enquires to bookings.
- Running the front desk during selected dinner/lunch services, managing bookings and showing guests to their tables as well as liaising with prospective diners who have expressed interest in the menu.
- Everything events, from bump in and out, to the coordination of the function and more.
- Processing payments for deposits.
- Effectively communicating with the floor and kitchen management to ensure all information is clear and accessible regarding bookings, functions or events.
- Following up prospective leads to ensure that no opportunities are missed.
