As the Events Executive, you will be responsible for the planning and delivery of REIQ’s face-to-face and virtual events across Queensland. You will manage relationships with a range of key stakeholders internal and external to deliver a successful event.About the Person:
To be successful, you will have a high level of professionalism, exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills. You will be self-motivated, able to take initiative, have high attention to detail, exceptional organisational skills and can manage multiple competing priorities.You will be a collaborative team player, eager to learn and have a passion for events with previous experience coordinating and organising events.Duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinating key events, including breakfasts, networking sessions, conferences and webinars
- Creating event schedules, run sheets, marketing plans, and necessary event collateral as required
- Assisting in the development and implementation of the Event Calendar
- Booking trainers and presenters and preparing learning resources and materials
- Securing venues, catering, and operational necessities for events
- Conducting event surveys and leveraging data to boost attendance and awareness
- Previous experience in an events planning or coordination role
- Be bubbly and friendly, with the ability to confidently communicate with a range of stakeholders
- Strong initiative skills and an ability to take action and manage projects independently
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work autonomously and in a team environment
- Experience in membership associations is highly advantageous although not essential
