SalaryWe are seeking a highly competent, dynamic and experienced Events & Functions Manager to work within our successful regional Restaurant & Bar in the exciting city of Busselton in Western Australia.
As the Events & Functions Manager, you will be responsible for managing an exciting Events Calendar, working with customers to build successful functions, recruiting function staff and ensuring the highest level of quality of food, beverage & customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage events and functions for the venue
- Supervise & train staff
- Ensure all Events & function staff provide excellent customer service
- Develop and implement strategies to improve business profitability
- Monitor and manage budgets, expenses, and revenue
- Ensure compliance with health, safety & liquor licensing regulations
- Maintain positive relationships with customers and the local community
- Collaborate with the leadership team to achieve business goals
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all staff & customers
- Assist in building and developing an award winning venue
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hospitality management
- Proven track record of successfully managing Events & Functions
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Strong people management skills
- Knowledge of health, safety & liquor licensing regulations
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays
- Willingness to live in and become part of the community
