Reporting to: Director & Senior Event Producer, Click Click Marketing
An events manager is responsible for the execution of successful events through meeting the expectations of Click Click Marketing’s clients, whilst upholding the highest level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality. These events include, but are not limited to, major trade and consumer conferences and exhibitions, large and small scale corporate events, intimate roundtables and specialist executive functions.
The Event Manager will work with clients to ascertain event briefs, budgets, produce detailed proposals and coordinate all aspects of event planning and execution to ensure a quality service is a consistent outcome.
Click Click Marketing’s Event Department is a fast paced and growing division perfect for someone wanting to experience all aspects of the events industry as no event is ever the same. Clients may have last minute requests or additional requirements that call for flexibility and immediate attention. This role requires someone who can handle a changing environment.
Core Responsibilities
- End-to-end project management of contracted events including but not limited to:
- Concept design, logistics coordination, vendor management, correct budget allocation, on-site domestic and international event operations and execution
- Understanding requirements and details of each event to ensure a smooth and seamless execution
- Planning and organising events with strong attention to financial and time parameters
- Effective relationship management with clients to ensure their expectations are being met
- Upholding the highest level of professionalism, integrity and confidentiality when representing Click Click Marketing and the Client
- Attending events to assist on-site execution, predominantly domestic however international may be required
- Working closely with other members within the Events team to ensure a successful timeline delivery
- Cross-functional teamwork with peers from the Click Click Marketing Events other departments
- Managing knowledge of competitive pricing of relative products and services in the market
- Preparation of RFP’s
- Maintaining effective partnerships with vendors and accredited suppliers, including effective negotiation for cost efficient outcomes
- Critical problem solving for any on demand challenges and offering solutions to resolve these challenges in a timely manner
- Evaluate event’s success and submit post-event reports
- Track and measure event projects through appropriate means, i.e spreadsheets, CRM systems, charts
- Other general ad-hoc duties as required
Essential Criteria
- Diploma of Event Management (or above)
- Minimum 3 years’ of experience in event or project management in corporate international and/or domestic events
- Strong stakeholder management experience liaising with senior executives within professional services
- IT industry background an advantage
- Excellent time management and communication skills
- Strong Attention to detail
- Google Drive experience essential
- Must be driven and self-motivated
- Bilingual skill an advantage
