About the role
Rydges Bankstown is a 120 room, 4 star hotel located on the Hume Highway in Bass Hill. The property features a restaurant, bar, and conferencing facilities.
Due to an internal promotion, Rydges Bankstown is looking for a fun and enthusiastic Conference & Events Manager to join our dynamic and successful Team!
As a Full Time C&E Manager you will be responsible for the daily operations of our C&E dept as well as the hotel restaurant and bar.
Skills & experience
- A strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food and beverage and guest service.
- Experience managing restaurant, bar and conferencing & Events operations.
- Experience with IVvy desirable.
- Achieve budgeted revenues, control expenses, payroll costs, ordering stock & maintaining hotel par levels and maximise profitability within all areas of food and beverage outlet(s).
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Leadership skills that are second to none.
- Experience in training and developing staff
- The role would suit an experienced F & B Supervisor ready to take the next step in their career.
