This exciting events role will assist the National Events team with event planning, financial management and fundraising content for Starlight’s major gala events, with the goal of achieving fundraising budgets & long term mutually beneficial relationships. What’s important for the role:
- Administrative skills with high attention to detail.
- Partner engagement & retention.
- Accurate, high quality & timely delivery of fundraising content.
- Ability to travel interstate.
- Creating positive Starlight Experiences and promoting the Starlight brand.
- At event support, including interstate travel and weekends as required.
- Auction & Event program delivery, liaising with committee and donors.
- Maintain event microsite and social media.
- Table sale management: ticketing, receipting & liaising with guests to collate required information.
- Produce event documentation and manage event inbox and general enquiries.
- Book travel and accommodation.
- Receipting, reporting, purchase orders and reconciliations.
- Timely and accurate recording of data & reporting using CRM.
- Support run sheet development with lead from Events Executive.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders regarding event resourcing: staff, volunteers, and our team of Captain Starlight’s.
- Event coordinator experience
- Relevant qualifications in events or marketing (desirable).
- Well-developed MS Office and CRM database management skills.
- Confident communication skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced team environment.
- Demonstrated flair for building authentic, positive relationships.
- Experience supporting multiple projects and/or team members.
