Role Overview: As a production Excavator Operator you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of safety while ensuring efficient operation in an in-pit production environment.
What's the job?
- Operate Hitachi 3600 excavators in pit
- Excavators from 350 tonnes - 600 tonnes on site
- Rio Tinto West Angelas mine site
- Operating alongside dozer operators and other ancillary machinery
- Loading autonomous trucks
- Adhere to safety standards
Roster and hours:
- 8&6 day shift, 7&7 night shift
- 12.5 hours days with paid lunch breaks
Pay rates:
- $70-$75/hr depending on experience
What do I need?
- Minimum 3 years in pit production digging experience
- Valid WA driver's license
- Police clearance within 3 months
- Strong understanding of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
