Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Plant Equipment Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating various plant equipment including excavators, front end loaders, and forklifts. Your primary duties will involve handling green waste, transferring materials, loading trucks, and assisting customers with site components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Spotting customers and directing them upon arrival.
- Performing on-site duties, typically an 8-hour day starting at 7 am from Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturdays.
- Operating plant equipment efficiently and safely.
- Providing excellent customer service by assisting customers with site components, materials, and directions.
- Adhering to responsible and service-oriented practices at all times.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in operating relevant machinery within the scope of works.
- Preferred knowledge of recycling facility operations.
- Valid White Card (general construction induction card).
- Front End Loader Ticket OR Excavator Ticket
- Forklift Ticket.
- Working Hours:
- 5-6 days a week.
- Approximately 10 hours per day, subject to variation depending on workload.
