The Opportunity
Due to ongoing business growth, we are looking for an excavator operator who has experience excavating around live assets. The position is permanent full-time offering a rewarding remuneration package including regular overtime.
Your strengths will lie in operating excavators ranging from 2.5 to 8 tonne and excavating around water, gas or electrical assets. With your expertise, you will be carrying out general labouring tasks including site preparation, onsite support and associated civils work. You will also be operating state-of-the-art Plant & Equipment in pipeline renewal.
Your background may be from one of the following:
- Pipe maintenance experience such as cleaning, pipe lining, CCTV or plumbing
- Civil construction experience
- NBN or electrical industries where you have excavated around live assets
- Or you might be looking to break into the industry, either way we would like to chat with you - We value our people and are ready to invest in you, providing all required training!
You will bring:
- Valid Drivers Licence
- OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
- The ability to work on sites across Greater Brisbane
- Good work ethic and positive work attitude
- A strong focus on safety
- HR or MR licence, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights licences are desirable but not essential
To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
