The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving patient mental health through the safe and effective use of psychiatric procedures.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Interpreting and reporting on psychiatric evaluations such as mental status examinations, psychometric tests, and diagnostic interviews.
- Consulting with patients on treatment plans, potential side effects, and therapeutic effects.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to plan, monitor, review, and evaluate patient effectiveness.
- Ensuring resources availability by maintaining, restocking, and inventorying psychiatric resources.
- Maintaining psychiatric knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and participating in professional societies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Medical degree from a recognised institution.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to make decisions in the best interest of the patient.
