What you'll be doing
The Executive Assistant to the NSLHD Director Nursing and Midwifery provides high level organisational and administrative support to the Director. The Executive Assistant works with the Director by fulfilling the administrative functions of their Portfolio. The Portfolio is complex and challenging and this role will play a proactive and integral part in ensuring that administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner.
The Executive Assistant must be able to establish strong working relationships with staff at all levels of the organisation, but with particular emphasis on relationships with members of the Senior Executive, other executive support staff and Senior Managers within NSLHD.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Demonstrated senior experience in providing management support at an Executive Level including a proven capacity to operate effectively in an environment demanding confidentiality and discretion in issues management. High level administrative skills and demonstrated capacity to develop and implement in office administrative systems.
- Demonstrated and proven high-level ability in interpersonal, written and electronic communication skills including superior written expression skills. Demonstrated ability to respond, adapt and cope with changing priorities and demands in a multidisciplinary work environment.
- Demonstrated experience in organising high level committees, meetings, conferences and seminars. Preparation of agendas and minute taking. Experience in recording and tracking of high-level issues to completion and management in an electronic filing system, such as TRIM.
