We're looking for a part-time Executive Assistant who shares our passion for a supportive community and has the skills to advance our mission through exceptional administrative and strategic support.
Your New Role:
As an Executive Assistant, you will provide critical support to our board and Senior Management team. Your role is pivotal in facilitating our organisation's governance and strategic planning, ensuring compliance with all relevant government and legislative requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate schedules and meetings for the board of directors and Senior Management.
- Prepare agendas, minutes, and briefing materials for executive and board meetings.
- Serve as the liaison among the board, Senior Management, and various stakeholders, ensuring efficient communication and information flow.
- Assist in the implementation of board decisions and contribute to strategic planning and report preparations.
- Manage executive correspondence, confidential documents, and records.
- Handle project management for annual reports and other critical documents.
- Assisting in the implementation of ad-hoc projects
What You Will Bring to the Role:
- Proven experience as an Executive Assistant, preferably within the nonprofit or disability support sector. Experience with boards will be highly regarded.
- Exceptional organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities seamlessly.
- Strong proficiency in written and verbal communication.
- Independence in task management and prioritization, with a high level of discretion in handling confidential information.
- Solid knowledge of office management software and tools.
- Understanding of the NDIS framework and its impact on organisational governance.
- Must possess or be willing to obtain an NDIS Worker Screening Check and a Working with Children's Check.
