About the company Our client have been operating in the NT assisting the public service in negotiating all industrial agreements for it's members and ensuring the protection of member's rights. A senior admin Executive & Compliance Officer position supporting the President across high level secretariat duties and functions has presented for an immediate start. About the role Reporting to the President your primary function is to provide executive and project support services, including communications and diary management. Assist in completing strategic projects to enhance the Association and its reputation. Coordinate contract administration, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures. • Provide executive and admin support: diary management, secretariat services, document prep. • Organise Annual Branch Conference. • Coordinate Executive meetings: agenda drafting, minutes, action item follow-up. • Liaise as President's point of contact with stakeholders, manage communication. • Lead/contribute to projects for organisation objectives. • Research, prepare reports on policy, planning, operations. • Administer contracts, manage vendors, ensure compliance. • Coordinate elections for Regional Reps, Executive Members. • Support Bookkeeper/Accountant in financial function oversight. • Advise staff on compliance, internal policy matters. • Develop, monitor, implement, evaluate administrative practices. • Coordinate property management, commercial leases. • Oversee efficient operation of Association's IT systems, data integrity, backup/storage. Skills & Experience The position is for a senior experienced adminstration professional with criteria including; • High level senior experience providing executive secretariat and administrative services. • Well developed skills to negotiate and adjust schedules for both self and President amidst heavy workloads, tight deadlines and conflicting commitments. • Demonstrated experience in contract administration including preparation of specifications and related documentation. • Proficiency in using the following software programs - Word, MYOB, Excel, PowerPoint, Web Content Management, Data Base and project management software • High level interpersonal and communication skills. • Procurement procedures reflecting highest standard of probity and integrity.
