The Opportunity This position is responsible for oversighting the implementation of All Paths Lead to a Home: Western Australia’s 10-Year Strategy on Homelessness 2020–2030 (the Strategy) which is a whole-of-community plan, setting the direction for all levels of government, business and the community sector in responding to and preventing homelessness in Western Australia.
This includes programs of work related to three primary functions. Strategic Policy Development and Implementation System Stewardship, partnerships, and commissioning Coordination of responses, advice, and inter-departmental efforts Further details can be found within the attached JDF.
Details This full time, Senior Executive Service appointment is for a period of up to 5 years with possibility of extension and will be based primarily in Fremantle; however, will be expected to travel to the Perth Department of Communities Stirling Street Office frequently as well as travel to meet with regional staff and service providers. An Executive Search may be conducted as part of this selection process.
