Your Role
A newly created role spear heading our Data Transformation and Governance Team within our Intermediated Insurance Australia (IIA) business. The role has been created to assist with IIA’s large scale project to uplift technology for our customers and our business.
You’ll lead the strategic planning, implementation, and management of all Data Transformation initiatives, as well as establishing and enforcing data governance policies and procedures. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven decision-making and promote a culture of data excellence throughout IIA. Additionally, you will be responsible to identify strategies to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance data processes and insights across IIA.
This is a permanent role, we’re looking for applicants from Sydney.
About You
- You’ll come with a highly strategic mindset and really focus on achieving outcomes with a real hands on approach
- Extensive experience in data governance, data management, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully leading and implementing Data Transformation initiatives
- Strong understanding of data governance frameworks, methodologies, and best practices
- Experience in developing and enforcing data policies, standards, and procedures
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate a high-performing team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong proficiency in data governance and data management tools
