How you'll make a difference:
The Executive Project Director, Barwon Women's and Children's Project (Executive Project Director) requires a highly focused, driven and experienced executive who is passionate about contributing to the delivery of public infrastructure, leading a high-performing project team to drive exceptional project outcomes.
They will have experience successfully delivering infrastructure projects across the procurement and delivery phases. The Executive Project Director will have demonstrated experience working effectively within a complex multi-disciplinary environment, communicating with a range of stakeholders, and delivering high quality public infrastructure on time and on budget.
The Executive Project Director roles require extensive, highly regarded and established people and stakeholder management skills, with the role required to oversee, advise and collaborate with multi-disciplinary project teams (including external consultants) and be the key interface with the health service provider and industry (including the private sector Public Private Partnerships (PPP) market) as well as brief and advise the Executive Director, PPPs and other senior VHBA and Departmental executives (including, the Senior Executive Director, Program Delivery and CEO, Victorian Health Building Authority).
The successful applicants must also be capable of translating the Department's strategic objectives of ensuring all Victorians are able to access good health and wellbeing into the tendering, commercial and contractual requirements of VHBA's PPP projects throughout all key phases of project development (including, the planning, procurement, delivery and operations phases).
Suitable applicants will be able to demonstrate : -
- An ability to engage and, as relevant, negotiate with government stakeholders, PPP sponsors, builders and other key industry players.
- Highly developed and sophisticated project management skills.
- Proven extensive experience successfully leading and delivering or advising on health or other infrastructure and High Value High Risk projects.
