Job description

The Strategy and Performance Branch is looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Executive Services Officer. You will provide high quality confidential administrative and executive support to the senior executive and liaise with senior management, representatives of business units within the department and other government agencies to ensure the provision of high quality administrative support functions. This position is offered on a full-time basis.

Your Role:

Responsibilities include:

  • Support the senior executive by coordinating high volumes of incoming and outgoing correspondence and responding to queries and requests forinformation;
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in all correspondence and administrative documents while using use appropriate software programs, includingContent Manager and OneNote;
  • Provide advice to the senior executives on the implementation and improvement of systems and processes; and
  • Coordinate travel arrangements, invoice payments, timesheet reconciliations.

Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills and attributes:

  • Outstanding skills in communication, customer service and the ability to build and maintain professional relationships;
  • High level skills in problem solving, prioritisation and managing competing demands in a timely manner;
  • Excellent attention to detail and profi ciency in CM, OneNote, Excel and Alloc8; and
  • Flexibility and availability to meet the needs of the senior executive and the branch.
