Position Overview
As the Executive Housekeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of client's establishment. You will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping staff, ensuring efficient operations, and upholding the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for creating a positive guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are consistently maintained to company standards.
- Inspect rooms, public areas, and facilities to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards.
- Coordinate with other departments to meet guest needs and address any housekeeping-related issues.
- Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and place orders as needed.
- Conduct regular meetings with housekeeping staff to communicate expectations, provide training, and address any concerns.
- Handle guest complaints and concerns related to housekeeping and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the maintenance department to ensure proper functioning of equipment and timely resolution of maintenance issues.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Executive Housekeeper or in a similar role in the hospitality industry.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, techniques, and equipment.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in hospitality management is a plus.
