Our venue can cater for up to 250 covers a la carte, up to 400 share plates with a capacity for functions of up to 1000 pax.
About the roles:
We are looking for an experienced self-motivated Executive Sous Chef who is ready to take on the next challenge in their career. This position will suit someone who is meticulous and organised in the kitchen. To be successful in this role, you must have a high level of customer service, time management and coordination skills.
You will have a creative flair and a solid track record in delivering high-quality cuisine. You will be hands-on in your approach and thrive on achieving outstanding results while motivating and inspiring from within the team. Reporting directly to the Executive Chef, this is a full-time role. You will have a passion for delivering quality food.
Your responsibilities may include:
- Managing and leading the efficient and effective running of the Kitchen
- Provide input for the development and management of the kitchen
- Preparation and cooking of meals in accordance with food and service standards
- Ensure kitchen is kept to a high standard by providing a clean, hygienic environment for the preparation and delivery of meals
- Rostering and wage control
- Promote a safe, secure environment for staff and patrons
The successful applicant will have:
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Trade Qualifications/Relevant Experience
- Effective communication skills
- A sound knowledge of food safety
- Attention to detail
- Positive attitude and professional manner
- You must have working rights in Australia
- Must be flexible with rosters and available to work day, nights and Public Holidays
