Executive Support OfficerCentral Australia and Barkly Continuing, full time appointment Professional Employee Level 5/6 - $72,061 – $90,518 pa Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Alice Springs Campus
Provide high-level executive and administrative support to the Associate Vice-Chancellor Central Australia and Barkly, and their portfolio.
About the Position As the Executive Support OfficerCentral Australia and Barkly, you will provide confidential and high-level administrative and Executive Support to the Associate Vice-Chancellor Central Australia and Barkly.
The role delivers professional standards in office administration, communications, client services, financial transactions, project support, and travel coordination.
About You To be successful, you will require:
Completion of a Diploma in Business or a related area with two years subsequent experience, or education, training and/or relevant experience and/or a combination of recent relevant work experience in office administration, particularly Executive Support.
Proven effective administration skills at executive level, with the ability to prioritise workloads, to maintain confidentiality and attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience exercising discretion and confidentiality with sensitive company information.
Proven initiative and organisational skills of a high order, together with the ability to work independently and flexibly to complete tasks within required timeframes and engage in effective teamwork.
Proven high level interpersonal, oral and written communication skills including the ability to utilise a range of computer programs to produce reports, correspondence and presentations.
Proven initiative and organisational skills of a high order, together with the ability to work under pressure, independently and flexibly to complete tasks within required timeframes.
Demonstrated strong customer service skills and cultural competency, attention to detail, can-do attitude and culture of serving others with empathy, high quality, excellence and dignity.
Additional requirements for Level 6
Education, training and/or subsequent relevant experience equivalent to completion of a degree with at least 4 years subsequent relevant experience or extensive experience in Business or other relevant stream.
Excellent organisational skills with a proven ability to think proactively and prioritise conflicting tasks and a challenging workload.
Demonstrated ability to coordinate strategic projects, develop, advise and support implementation of recommendations.
Previous experience working at a tertiary and/or public administration environment with expertise in evaluation, interpreting and applying organizational policies and legislative principles, including preparing complex documents and interpreting a multiplicity of data.
Demonstrated high level oral and written communication skills across a range of genres including the ability to communicate sensitively and effectively for proper negotiation and consultation.

Remuneration Appointment to this role will be at Professional Employee Level 5/6. The base salary will be in the range of $72,061 – $90,518 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $84,311 - $105,906 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
