About you:
In your new role you will…
- Demonstrate ability to effectively manage and provide high level Executive Support functions associated with the operation of the office of the Executive Director Strategy Planning and Infrastructure.
- Provide high level communication and interpersonal skills demonstrated through liaison with a wide range of clientele including senior officers from government departments, other agencies and with members of the public on a range of complex, confidential and sensitive issues.
- Possess proven ability to coordinate multiple tasks and work autonomously and as a team member to prioritise work, meet deadlines, resolve issues, proactively identify and achieve effective outcomes whilst remaining flexible in a high profile rapidly changing health care environment.
In this position you will provide high quality, confidential, administrative and Executive Support and to demonstrate responsibility for the administrative management of the office of the Executive Director Strategy Planning and Infrastructure Cairns Hospital.
About your role:
- Provide high quality, confidential administrative/Executive Support to the Executive Director Strategy Planning and Infrastructure in a mature and professional manner which ensures the integrity and efficiency of that office.
- Liaise with Queensland Health executives, government bodies and members of the public using discretion with sensitive and/or confidential matters and develop ongoing working relationships.
- Acquire and maintain a broad understanding of the political and social environment and maintain current knowledge of issues relating to the Executive Director Strategy Planning and Infrastructure and matters affecting the management of the area.
- Undertake basic research, prepare, collate and format high-quality written correspondence. This may include correspondence such as letters, memorandums, emails, briefing notes, business cases, PowerPoint presentations and financial reports utilising appropriate corporate templates and within the necessary timeframe.
- Coordinate and assist with projects allocated to the Executive Director Strategy Planning and Infrastructure and relevant stakeholders. This may include basic research, implementation, monitoring and reporting of project progress to project teams and district Executive as required.
