An exciting opportunity for an Exercise Physiologist to join our team in Port Macquarie.
Pro-Active Health is an Australia wide Allied Health company that values holistic, patient-centred care while supporting our practitioners with professional development packages and a well structured 2 month mentorship program.
Being part of the Pro-Active network gives you access to a team of 300 Exercise Physiologists and mentors with years of experience in the industry.
Currently, our amazing and growing health team in Port Macquarie consists of 3 Exercise Physiologists, 1 Physiotherapist,1 Psychologist, 1 Dietitian, State and Area Managers and administration staff.
Our marketing, admin and lead generation teams promote the business to ensure you have a variable caseload daily.
The Role:
We are looking for health professionals who take great initiative, are honest, thorough in their clinical approach, comfortable working with a diverse caseload including clients funded through:
- WorkCover/ Insurance
- DVA
- Medicare
- NDIS
- Private
Key responsibilities include:
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with patients and other health professionals
- Ability to work independently and unsupervised
- Assessing & ongoing monitoring of clients
- Communicating & reporting to other health and medical professionals
- Health education and promotion for patients
- Excellent verbal, written communication and computer skills with the ability to learn scheduling and software programs.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Exercise Physiology or equivalent
- ESSA Accreditation & insurances
- CPR & Current First Aid certificates
- Police Check
- Transport
