This is a varied role that would give you exposure to a variety of areas in your day to day role supporting individuals recover from injury.
- Performing a variety of assessment to confirm diagnosis, setting goals and implement a comprehensive exercise rehabilitation treatment plan for individuals including Workers’ Compensation clients, private clients and those at risk of injury
- Onsite workplace visits to assist in evaluating the job requirements, providing advice on reducing risk, suitable duties along with developing work specific rehabilitation goals
- Completion of occupational health services such as telehealth exercise rehabilitation services, Functional Capacity Evaluations (FCEs) and pre-employment medicals
- Reporting on a client’s initial assessment, progress and final assessments and reporting
- Strong customer service skills to ensure a positive experience, professional service at all times
- Having the ability deliver Exercise Physiology services within the SIRA framework and focussing on sustainable changes related to return to work
- Participating in multidisciplinary case conferences and manage relationships with various stakeholders
- Tertiary qualified in Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy
- Full registration with ESSA or AHPRA
- Police check or willingness to obtain a police check prior to commencement
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
