Job Description
The opportunity:
We are currently inviting applications for a part-time permanent Exercise Physiologist to join the Goodlife team, operating across our Goodlife Health Club portfolio in Adelaide.
The Exercise Physiologist provides specific Exercise Physiology services for people with injuries or health conditions through the Allied health initiative, Private Health funds and other related Exercise Physiology programs.
This part-time role is available for approximately 64 hours a fortnight, with the option to take on more hours as case load increases.
Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Conduct initial and review assessments using subjective and objective tools
Be detailed in exercise prescription and management in line with more complex referrals for chronic diseases and injury rehabilitation
Understand clients' needs and prescribe programs accordingly
Liaise with Medicare, DVA and Health Funds as required
Recommend prescription upgrades, modifications and exercise options to clients
Liaise and write reports to GP's and other allied health professionals
Participate in regular Case Management meetings and maintain accurate client files
To be successful in this role you have:
Essential
Tertiary qualified in Human Movement, Sports Science or similar
ESSA member with Exercise Physiology accreditation essential
Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate
New graduates encouraged to apply

WorkCover accreditation
Strongly customer service focused, with a positive and professional attitude
Desirable
