About the role
This role is accountable for delivering innovative, evidence-based clinical services that assess, review, and evaluate work capacity to drive enhanced health and performance outcomes. This will include but not be limited to:
- Deliver high quality services utilising evidence-based practice within a multidisciplinary team, in accordance with MRL Occupational Health Centre services and in liaison with the Occupational Health Team Lead and Manager – Health and Medical Centre
- Ensure compliance with relevant Regulations, Acts, and Policies related to occupational health and safety
- Facilitate pre-employment physical capacity screening for a diverse range of candidates in the resources industry
- Engage in continuous professional development and education opportunities to ensure continuous registration and compliance under ESSA or AHPRA Registration requirements
- Actively participates in the maintenance of a safe work environment
- Engages in an annual performance development review
We’re looking for:
- Tertiary qualification in Exercise Physiology or Occupational Therapy
- Full accreditation with ESSA or AHPRA
- Minimum 3 years in a similar role with provision of administrative support
- Current CPR and Provide First Aid (desirable)
- Successful obtainment of HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing (required)
- WorkCover WA approved audiometric officer (desirable)
- Experience and ability to oversee clinical delivery of services.
- Proficient with digital health systems.
- Extensive knowledge of clinical governance, safety and quality requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
