- Oversee end-to-end Accounts Payable and Receivable processes;
- Review weekly and monthly pharmacy payroll, updating forecasts accordingly;
- Perform month-end close, including journal processing, general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliation, balance sheet management, intercompany processing, and revenue analysis;
- Assist to prepare monthly rolling forecasts and annual budgets for internal management;
- Prepare to lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) and other statutory requirements;
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements for presentation to management;
- Liaise with the ATO and other government departments;
- Assist management with relevant ASIC reports and statutory tax-related compliances; and
- Provide support during the annual external audit process.
Ideal candidates will have:
- Tertiary qualified and studying towards/looking to commence your CA/CPA.
- Must have at least two years of relevant experience within a commercial accountant capacity.
- Must have intermediate knowledge and experience with company income tax and GST.
- Demonstrated experience in complex, integrated, computerised accounting systems.
- Demonstrated ability to methodically analyse sets of data.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to build and deliver effective presentations.
- Detail-oriented, ability to multitask, work independently, and prioritise tasks.
The salary offered is based upon the award but will may be commensurate with qualifications and experience. This is a full-time position working 38 hours a week.
