Board Minute-Taker (Casual Contract with Remote Travel to Arnhem Land)

Start Date: Sunday, 17th March

Duration: 6 x days (On Country), followed by some work from home 

Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Board Minute-Taker to join them on a casual contract basis for a unique opportunity in East Arnhem Land.Casual contract.  The successful candidate will be responsible for attending and accurately recording the minutes of a Board meeting, with a focus on cultural sensitivity and understanding, as well as providing secretarial and administrative support to the Board.

Responsibilities

• Attend a Board meeting in Arnhem Land and accurately record minutes.
• Provide secretarial and administrative support to the Board and Executive Management as required.
• Work closely with Aboriginal community members, demonstrating cultural sensitivity and respect.
• Compile and finalise meeting minutes, notes, and action items in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure accuracy and completeness of documentation.
• Complete any additional administrative tasks related to the meeting.

Requirements

• Proven experience in minute-taking for Board meetings.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work autonomously and efficiently under pressure.
• Experience in working with Aboriginal communities and understanding of cultural protocols and sensitivities.
• Passion for remote travel and willingness to work and stay in basic camp accommodation in Arnhem Land.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite and other relevant software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
