ABOUT THE ROLE
This role involves engineering drafting for highly detailed hydraulic building services such as water, sewer, fire hydrants, and gas reticulation. In this role you would be required to:
- Create plan backgrounds from architectural documents by removing unnecessary details whilst retaining all pertinent information.
- Read and review hand written markups from the design team.
- Drafting of highly detailed hydraulic services drawings for areas such as water supply, sanitary drainage, and fire services.
- Quality assurance checks over detailed drawings.
We are looking for a person to join our drafting team, with the opportunity to progress to a hydraulic services design role through mentoring from our experienced designers.
Over time you will develop a thorough understanding of hydraulic services and progress to a hydraulic services design drafting role and potentially a hydraulic design engineer.

ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is:
- Interested in construction engineering
- Quick learner
- Proficient with essential computer operation (Windows)
- Proficient in AutoCAD drafting software
- Has excellent time management skills
- Works well under pressure and can meet deadlines when required.
