Experienced Buyer's Agent

We are looking for an Experienced Buyer's Agent to join our busy team in Brisbane! 

Allen Real Estate Buyer’s Agency has been helping clients buy property in Brisbane for over 15 years.

You will be working as a Buyer's Agent under the Director of Buying and assisting with every aspect of the property purchasing process. You will be work approximately 80% from home, 20% from office (we can be flexible to suit your lifestyle) and you will also attend property inspections throughout the week as required.

Your Key Tasks:

1. Maintaining strong relationships with sales agents in our focus areas (primarily on the North side but in all parts of Brisbane)
2. Contacting sales agents about upcoming properties for sale
3. Inspecting properties and providing detailed reports and photos to clients
4. Negotiating property purchases with sales agents (terms and conditions, contracts, pricing etc) including bidding at auction
5. Attending building and pest and pre-settlement inspections and reporting back to clients

Other Tasks:

• Sourcing properties for purchase – both on and off-market - with support from our dedicated online property research team
• Coordination with the whole buying team via our internal communication systems
• Liasing and booking appointments with other real estate professionals involved in the purchasing process (solicitors, conveyancers, building and pest companies, property managers)

Must Haves:

• Experience in the property industry and ideally in a Buyer's Agency role or very similar
• Knowledge of the Brisbane property market and QLD real estate transactions (for example - know how to fill out a QLD contract of sale)
• A strong understanding of residential property investment and purchasing
• Be based in Brisbane or willing to move
• A great attitude, an ability to learn and adapt
• Flexibility with working hours (some early evenings and every Saturday)
• Your own driver’s licence and car to attend property appointments
• Excellent phone and email manner

Nice to Haves:

• Own at least one investment property or a larger property portfolio
