Our client based in Mermaid Waters is seeking a Centre Manager who brings a high standard towards Early Childhood, to be the inaugural manager for their centre opening mid-2024. This is a permanent role, with an ASAP start.
The successful applicant will have experience in the management of a larger service (150+) and believe in fostering curiosity, empathy, and understanding for different cultures and traditions in young children.
Your responsibilities:
- Establishing the opening team and maintaining adequate staffing levels which align with the growth of centre enrolments.
- Manage daily operations of the centre, including staff management, enrolments, record keeping and fees management system - you will have a management support team to assist in this.
- Lead and support the professional development of the Educators and Teachers, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management.
- Always ensure the safety and well-being of all children, following all policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Foster a positive and inclusive culture that promotes teamwork and respect for diversity.
- Promote a warm, welcoming and supportive environment for all educators and families within the service
