This is a full-time opportunity for an enthusiastic, hardworking and reliable person.

Location: Tweed Heads, NSW

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Organise and plan the preparation and cooking of food;

• Ordering food supplies, plan menus, estimate labour and food costs, and ordering food supplies

• Preparation and presentation control at all stages and monitoring the quality of food;

• Preparation and cooking of food;

• Be involved with the selection and training of staff;

• Partaking in discussions of food preparation issues with Head Chef, other chefs, Management, and other staff;

• Enforcing and explain hygiene regulations;

• Advising on cooking procedures and demonstrating techniques;

• Preservation and freezing of foods.

• Demonstrating techniques and advising on cooking procedures

Qualification and Experience

• Holds at least AQF Diploma (in a relevant field) or at least 3 years relevant experience (at minimum)

• Previous experience in Japanese cuisine and/or sushi techniques preferred

Annual salary package: $75,000-$80,000 plus superannuation
