Job Description:
As a key member of our dental team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our practice while providing exceptional care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures from Family Dentistry to Orthodontics and Implants
- Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures.
- Ensuring appropriate dental records are maintained.
- Managing inventory of dental supplies.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Sterilization and maintenance of dental instruments and equipment.
- Supporting reception staff when needed to ensure an exceptional patient experience.
Qualifications:
- Certificate 3 or 4 in dental assisting advantageous but not essential
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dental practice. (Experience overlooked for an exceptional candidate with an eagerness to learn and passion for the industry).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- High level of maturity and professionalism.
- Goal-oriented with a focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
- Ability to exude sincerity, warmth, and confidence in patient interactions.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work harmoniously within a team and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
