Form of workAJM Diesel Repairs is a family-owned and operated business located in Casino, NSW.
We are currently seeking to employ a Diesel Mechanic/Second in Charge (2IC) to start immediately in a full-time position.
To be successful in this position you will need to:
- Have 4+ years of experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic.
- Be reliable and hardworking.
- Have the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
- Have proven experience in a similar role. You will be required to ‘jump right in’ to our busy workshop.
- Provide exceptional workmanship and attention to detail on all services and repairs.
- Possess strong mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills, as well as being able to use diagnostic software.
- Have the ability to work on most heavy vehicles; Buses, Trucks, Tractors and Earthmoving Equipment.
- Have a licence and your own means of transport.
- Be able to supervise and assist our apprentices where necessary.
- Be available for a 3-month paid trial, for suitability.
Ideal, but not essential:
- HR Licence
- Heavy Vehicle roadworthy ticket
