• Adhere to all applicable health, safety, and environmental laws, regulations, and statutory obligations at all times.
• Perform meticulous vehicle service and repair tasks including checking and changing transmission/engine oil, filter, and air filter, as well as greasing all grease nipples and replacing any broken ones.
• Conduct thorough inspections and adjustments of brakes, tire pressure, lights, gauges, wiper blades, washer systems, clutches, u-bolts, drive shaft uni-joints, center bearings, chassis components, kingpins, and tie rod ends.
• Execute body service and repair duties such as inspecting and changing hydraulics filter and oil, repairing pivot points, addressing cracks on sub-frames and bodies, checking hydraulic hoses for leaks, and inspecting and repairing moving parts.
• Perform repairs as required, including engine replacement, transmission replacement, clutch and gearbox replacement, truck body replacement, and differential replacement.

Profile

• MUST HAVE Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology
• Ideally 3 years of experience in a similar role
• Reliability to maintain schedules and meet deadlines.
• Strong commitment to promoting and achieving a high level of customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with fellow team members.
• Proficiency in carrying out verbal and written instructions.
