Form of workJurassic Bark Doggy Daycare is an all-new jungle experience for our furry customers, unlike anything else in the Melbourne area!
We've already built a great team of humans who are passionate about pups, but we're putting the call out for additional Experienced Dog trainers or people with extensive Dog Daycare experience who might be interested in joining our team.
We offer Doggy Daycare and Grooming (Monday - Friday). There may be a range of shifts available between the hours of 7am - 7pm, as either an AM or PM shift (or both if preferred).
Positions would be on a Casual basis.
Potential candidates may be called in for an in-person interview on one day, and potentially required to do a 1 to 2 hour trial shift on another day.
Administrative skills and/or reception experience also highly regarded.
Please do not apply if you do not have experience in a Dog Daycare, kennel, veterinary, zoology, training, grooming or sitting role.
Positions are not available to working holiday makers.
Essential pre-requisites for the role are:
o Teamwork – You must be able to work in a team environment where all staff members are respectful, communicate well and are able to depend on each other
o Communication & Customer Service – Must have sound customer service experience along with exceptional communication skills
o Physical ability – This role is very physically demanding, must have a “can do” attitude and be prepared to work hands-on with a wide range of dogs
o Time management - The position is fast paced and requires everyone to be able to manage their time and priorities to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner
o Extensive canine behavioural knowledge
o Must be comfortable with handling multiple dogs with varying sizes and temperaments
