Position Title: Technical Sales Consultant (Composite Panels)

Job Summary: As a Technical Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for selling Composite Panels, fibre-glass reinforced skins, extruded polystyrene sheets and related accessories to a wide range of customers. Your primary duties will include assisting customers in selecting the right panels or components for their trucks, caravans, camper trailers & RV’s, providing product information and demonstrations, and processing sales transactions. Additionally, you will be tasked with maintaining and ensuring customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

1.            Customer Service: Welcome customers warmly and assist them in finding the appropriate products for their vehicles. Address any inquiries they may have regarding the products, including features, compatibility, and pricing.

2.            Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the Composite Panels and accessories available for sale. Stay abreast of new products, features, and industry trends to better assist customers and provide informed recommendations.

3.            Sales: Actively engage with customers to promote and sell Composite Panels and related products. 

4.            Transaction Processing: Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently using the company sales system. 

5.            Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels and notify management when stock needs replenishing as necessary to ensure optimal product availability. Conduct regular inventory audits and report any discrepancies to management.

6.            Trade Shows: Attend and maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales environment at trade shows. Arrange merchandise displays strategically to highlight featured products and attract customer attention.

7.            Customer Satisfaction: Strive to deliver exceptional customer service at all times. Address any customer concerns or complaints promptly and escalate issues to management as needed to ensure resolution.

8.            Management of large accounts: Maintain a strategic approach to managing and nurturing business relationships with key customers or clients. Attend customer sites as required, some travel will be required.

Qualifications:

•              Previous experience in composite panel sales, preferably in the automotive or trucking industry.

•              Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

•              Ability to thrive in a fast-paced sales environment.

•              Basic mathematical proficiency for processing transactions.

•              Customer-centric mindset with a dedication to delivering outstanding service.

Employment Status: Full-time

Location: Brisbane or Melbourne with working from home opportunities

Salary: Commensurate with experience (base salary or base salary + commission)
