Management has 30+ years technical background in telecommunications industry, and 20+ years business managing experience.
Due to the expansion of our work on new projects, there one vacancy of fibre technician available for work in Melbourne Metro & Victoria Regional area, on both Telstra & NBN network.
About the role
- Read and understand the Telecom drawing, plan, splicing table, trace files
- Work with ranges of fibre cables on live network, perform testing and create record, compiling test results, all types of cables, joints and enclosures
- Perform service/installation of all aspects associated with fibre optic infrastructure
- Signal analysing, fault tracing and rectification, new network and service build, on both Telstra & NBN networks
About you
- Extensive field work experience on Telstra & NBN fibre network
- Experience with live test, large cutover, available to perform night work and overtime work at request
- Ability to maintain safety first culture with high quality work outcome
- Willing and capable to take responsibility, and be a team player
