Qualifications & experience
- Multiple years' experience in Complex Needs support work
- Have NDIS clearance checks and all other relevant checks
- Be confident with managing behaviours of concern on daily basis
Tasks & responsibilities
- Exciting opportunity to transition a young man into his new SDA home in Belmont and help him focus on his goals and lifestyle. The hours will range from … 8am – 4pm daily shifts (Plus, evening and overnight shifts)
- Assisting client with daily tasks and community participation
- We require commitment from staff who are confident, positive behaviour focused, and willing to work the same hours, every week, as this is what our client requires.
- Assist with personal care, meal prep and medication management
- You must have previous experience with Complex Needs, preferably with autism and non-verbal people who have behaviours of concern. We will offer ample training and focus on trust building for as long as it takes until all staff and client are happy, safe and reaching their goals.
