You'll need a Cert III in Landscape Construction (or another associated building trade) as our jobs will have you doing everything from paving to welding, constructing decks & pergolas, driving an excavator and finishing burnished concrete countertops.

I had higher standards than the guy I used to work for. At the end of the day I'd go home feeling like my work was unappreciated. I got little thanks for what I did, or feedback on how well I did it.  There was little or no communication and we rarely met together to see how we could improve.  

It didn't seem like there would be opportunity for growth or to move up. And there wasn’t much in the way of training or money spent on improving our knowledge about new products or systems. I just slogged away, doing the same work.

I thought changing jobs and earning a bit more money could help.  The extra money was nice to start with, but I wanted more than just a pay check.

We’re careful about who we hire, so here’s what we’d like to see from you.

• Cert III in Landscape Construction or multiple years experience.
• Experience paving, welding, constructing decks & pergolas, concreting, brick and block work, etc, etc.
• Can read construction plans and work to specifications and standards
• Calculate and order materials
• Any machine licences (excavator, bobcat, HR) would be seen as advantageous but are not necessary.
• Have a clean full Australian driver’s licence.
• Be able to work unsupervised, lead a team and train apprentices.
• Honest and trustworthy.
• Take pride in your work and go the extra mile to make sure the job is top notch.
• Great people skills both with fellow workmates and customers.
• Experience using SimPRO is an advantage.
