Experienced Maintenance Employee - Tree Maintenance

Permanent Full Time

Location: Latrobe City

Salary Range $63,748.72 - $68,570.73 plus applicable allowances and 11% superannuation

Department: City Presentation

About this Role

As a Tree Maintenance Employee, you'll use your skills and experience in arboriculture and Tree Maintenance to achieve the overall maintenance objectives of the Tree Maintenance and City Presentation Department. Your role will be to ensure the care and proper use of plant, tools and equipment are used in the performance of the works, you will do this with safety and customer service front of mind. You will assist across any area of the maintenance operations where work priorities demand.

Working hours will be from 7:00AM - 4:00PM with 9-day fortnight. Workdays will be starting and concluding at Latrobe City Council's depot at Driffield Rd, Morwell.

About You

For this role we are seeking an experience tree Maintenance Employee with drive to produce work of the highest quality. Your communication will be friendly and professional to communicate with the public, clients and other employees.

You must have:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Arboriculture
  • Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence
  • National UET 20312 Certificate II in ESI Powerline Vegetation Control and the ESV
  • Prescribed annual refresher training
  • EWP Licence
  • Traffic Control and Worksite Management Certificate
  • Construction induction Card
  • Current First Aid

Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check and undertake a Pre-employment Medical Check.
