About this Role
As a Tree Maintenance Employee, you’ll use your skills and experience in arboriculture and Tree Maintenance to achieve the overall maintenance objectives of the Tree Maintenance and City Presentation Department. Your role will be to ensure the care and proper use of plant, tools and equipment are used in the performance of the works, you will do this with safety and customer service front of mind. You will assist across any area of the maintenance operations where work priorities demand.
Working hours will be from 7:00AM - 4:00PM with 9-day fortnight. Workdays will be starting and concluding at Latrobe City Council's depot at Driffield Rd, Morwell.
About You
For this role we are seeking an experience tree Maintenance Employee with drive to produce work of the highest quality. Your communication will be friendly and professional to communicate with the public, clients and other employees.
You must have:
- Current driver’s Licence
- Current Heavy Rigid Vehicle Licence
- Elevated platform vehicle operator certificate of competency.
- Current certificate in Cert 2 in ESI Powerline Vegetation Control.
- Current certificate recognising the holder has been trained and assessed to competently trim and cross cut felled trees or a higher qualification
- Traffic Control and Worksite Management Certificate
- Construction induction Card
Successful applicants will be required to apply for and satisfactorily obtain a National Police Check and Working with Children Check and undertake a Pre-employment Medical Check.
