The Role
The role is Monday to Friday from 9am to 5pm based on a 12-month fixed term contract with possibility of an extension. Reporting to the firm’s Engineering Manager and working at the client office in Adelaide CBD. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will support the delivery of various engineering and asset projects. Your responsibilities include:
- Complete requests for engineering services with support from the team,
- Working effectively with our clients and the engineering team to achieve all milestones,
- Liaise with stakeholders, resolve issues and pro-actively communicate progress,
- Complete technical engineering manuals, reports, investigations, and quality documentation as required,
- Assist the Engineering team on engineering projects, as required.
The successful candidate will possess the following attributes:
- Minimum qualification – bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (compulsory),
- At least 2-3 years professional experience in the related field (compulsory),
- Intermediate computer skills, including email, internet, MS office,
- Engineering data analysis skills (desirable),
- Well-developed communication skills,
- Customer focused,
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail,
- Ability to priorities design tasks and manage conflicts.
Special Conditions
- National police check required.
- Some out of hours work may be required.
- South Australian driving licence.
