Graduate Mechanical Engineer

GFG Alliance Australia invites recent or soon-to-be Mechanical Engineering graduates to join our Graduate Program, commencing in January 2025

Real Work with Real Outcomes – Starting on January 21, 2025, our two-year fixed-term program offers an immersive, hands-on experience. You will engage in meaningful projects, develop a broad skill set, and gain exposure to a diverse range of products and processes within Mining & Manufacturing. Our program combines practical learning with professional development, ensuring you grow both technically and interpersonally.

On-Site Experience
Whether you're at our Liberty Primary Steel or SIMEC Mining sites in Whyalla, SA, Liberty Bell Bay in Tasmania, or SIMEC Operations in Tahmoor, NSW, you'll have the chance to be part of an iconic Australian brand with a global footprint. By joining our team, you'll immerse yourself in hands-on experiences at one of our cutting-edge LPS & SIMEC Mining facilities, contributing to projects that span the globe and shape the future of the industry. 

We seek adaptable individuals who thrive in challenging environments, are eager to engage in real projects, work collaboratively, and make meaningful contributions to our business.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Australian/NZ citizenship OR an appropriate visa with unlimited working rights
• Completed an Australian tertiary degree in the past three years (or due to be completed in 2024)
• Less than two years of full-time, discipline-relevant work experience (part-time or unrelated work doesn’t count)
