AddressAbilitiesNQ are looking for Mature Experienced Mental Health / Disability Support Workers that have experience supporting clients with Mental Health and SIL living.

PART-TIME AND CASUAL POSITIONS AVALIABLE
As a mature experience Disability Support worker supporting clients with Mental Health needs, your role will involve:
- Providing support to clients in their homes
- Follow procedures including the collation of data and record maintenance.
- Regularly review plans ensuring transparency of client circumstances, needs and supports.
- Following mealtime management plans for clients.
- Ability to support clients with epilepsy.
- Assist clients with medication requirements.
- Conduct personal care duties with male clients.
- Assist with redirecting complex behavior's or concerns to ensure the safety of staff and clients.
- Providing assistance and supports to improve their daily living.
- Assist with daily domestic tasks.
- Assisting with accessing community for appointments, outings and leisure
- Be able to follow PBSP guidelines and follow incident reporting systems.
- Working with other stakeholders to improve clients living.
- Able to work active and non-active sleep overs, 2 per week as a minimum. With flexible availability.
Requirements include:
- Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
- WWC Blue Card (or ability to attain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to attain)
- Drivers Licence
- Own Car with Comprehensive Insurance
- NDIS workers orientation module certificate
Desirable or willing to obtain:
Certificate IV/Diploma in Mental Health (working towards, or an interest in completing this)
Demonstrated experience/knowledge in working with people in their Mental Health.
Manual Handling certificate
Assist Clients with Medication certificate.
