We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dealerships Financial Controller to join our dynamic team. This is a hands-on operational role where you will play a critical part in shaping our financial strategies and supporting the growth of our dealership. The Dealership will transition to a brand-new custom build facility over the next 18 months and this role will be key to assisting that move.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all aspects of financial operations within the dealership.
- Provide accurate and timely financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to the management team.
- Utilise the Pentana Dealer Management System to streamline financial processes and enhance efficiency.
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support departmental growth and profitability.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads to provide financial guidance and support.
- Ensure compliance with all financial regulations and dealership policies.
- Liaise with centralised accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and deal processing teams.
- Lead and mentor a small number of on-site admin personnel.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller in a Motor Vehicle Dealership.
- Strong knowledge of the Pentana Dealer Management System.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse management team.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
