Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller to join our team at the State Buildings. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all financial aspects of the hotel and restaurants, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Reporting to the General Manager, the Financial Controller will work closely with senior management to ensure financial stability and growth.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain annual budgets for the hotel
- Monitor and analyse financial performance against budget projections
- Prepare monthly financial reports for senior management
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Manage cash flow and liquidity for the hotel, restaurants and off-site Laundry
- Management of the Purchasing and IT departments.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA or CMA certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of successful financial management
- Candidates must have prior experience working as a Financial Controller in a hotel setting
