As the Financial Controller at Perth Power Tractors, you will be the linchpin of our financial operations, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial reporting, strategic planning, and compliance.
Your expertise will be crucial in driving our financial strategy and supporting our ambitious growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and analysis of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial results to senior management.
- Manage and lead the finance team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement robust financial policies and procedures.
- Monitor cash flow, manage accounts payable and receivable, and oversee payroll operations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage annual audits.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
About You:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CA qualification preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role within a medium to large organisation.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- High level of integrity and attention to detail.
