Position Overview:
As the Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in managing the financial operations of Maurice Zeffert.
Reporting directly to the CEO, you will be responsible for overseeing financial planning, analysis, reporting, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in driving financial strategies that support our long-term goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all financial operations including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO, providing insights and recommendations.
- Manage cash flow, accounting, and payroll processes.
- Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with department heads to develop budgets, meet KPIs, and monitor financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
- Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field: CPA or CA preferred.
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in the Aged Care or Healthcare sector.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a senior management team.
- Current national police clearance
