Due to having a large pipeline of works in the Hervey BayRegion, we're on the lookout for a skilled Pipe Layer to join our Pipe Crew. Working in small teams, you will have the opportunity to work across a variety of projects including subdivisions and infrastructure, including roads and bridges.Shadforth have an ongoing pipeline of work in the region and can offer the right candidate a genuine opportunity to grow their skills and progress their career with a leading Civil Contractor, with an opportunity to train up into leadership.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience working on Civil Projects
- Demonstrated experience laying sewer, storm water and water main.
- Ability to perform manual handling and repetitive tasks with some moderate to heavy lifting and reaching.
- Capable of shooting and reducing levels using Dumpy level
- Ability to set-up pipe laser
- Ability to read, interpret and understand plans and standards
- Confined space, quick cut, front end loader tickets (desirable)
- Plumbing qualification - Desirable but not essential
- Wages paid on a weekly basis + penalties
